Mhm. 4-inches.de has aquired high-res photos of the up coming Saga Legends Wave 4. With a slight focus on droids this wave includes Battle Droids, a Biker Scout, a Clone Tooper Officer, Imperial Officer, Pitt Droids, R4-I9, RA-7 and TC-14.

Also, Jediinsider.com has some photos from the new wave of titanium ships. Which include an AT-RT, Darth Vader's Tie Advance Starfighter, Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter and a Trade Federation Battleship. Its good to see a few new ones. Though right now it seems that Darth Maul's Sith Speeder and Jabba's Sail Barge are taking their sweet time on their pegs. At least thats how it seems here on the west coast.

I've heard some very mixed reviews about this line, but I'm personally a big fan of these. It's nice to know they've got an eye out for all the comic fans out there. The Darth Vader looks fantastic!

Anywho. The newest from the Star Wars Transformers series has been posted as well. Looks like we're getting another Darth Vader, but this time he's a Death Star! This one really brings me back to the ol micro machine days. I really wish they would bring those back. A very solid line that was. *sigh*

So I got a xbox 360 a few weeks back and purchased a game I've been waiting to play since it came out. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I still cant believe this is a game! I feel like its an second life to me. "Ive got to head out to Chorrol tomorrow to meet with the local alchemist. I guess I'll have to go after work." By day I'm a blog writer, artist and Lego enthusiast, by night I'm a 7 foot tall Nord Warrior. God I love that game. A Couple of fantastic stories hit today! Firstly, news from the greatest toy company of all time, LEGO, has announced their newest license. As seen on FBTB.net:

"NEW YORK (June 18, 2007) – LEGO Group, the world’s leading construction toy manufacturer, today announces a partnership with Lucasfilm Ltd. to produce building sets based on the Indiana Jones franchise – one of the most globally successful movie series ever made."

"Three worldwide blockbuster films, and the highly anticipated May 2008 premiere of the new Indiana Jones movie, will provide inspiration for a series of highly iconic and action-packed build-and-play adventures of the rogue archaeologist and hero."

Just wondering if these sets will hold any resemblance to the Adventurer series from 1998. Lots of beige bricks to come I presume. The first four sets based on the original trilogy are to make an appearance in January of 2008. And the other four sometime around the release of the movie in May 2008. Our second story comes from Spawn.com. Looks like Microsoft and Bungie are teaming up with Todd McFarlane for a second project. The first being Halo 3 exclusive Xbox 360 controllers featuring art from McFarlane himself. Now they're working on something a lot of Halo fans have hoped for and that is of course Halo action figures and vehicles.

"Two powerhouses of pop culture are collaborating, as McFarlane Toys announces a licensing agreement with Microsoft to produce action figures based on the hit video game series Halo®."

This has already been done before by Joyride Studios and they did do a fantastic job, but they were a little plain. I'm thinking McFarlane is going to have a sight more detail and grittiness to show realism. They are also a lot smaller than previous figures.

The figures included are: Master Chief, Cortana, Brute Chieftain, Jackal Sniper and a Grunt 2-pack.
As well as the following vehicles: Warthog, Ghost and Brute Chopper.

Halo 3 is scheduled for release in September 2007 and the figures in Spring of 2008.

Todd McFarlane has revealed his newest line of figures set for release in October 2007. This macabre six figure set titled 'Twisted Christmas' is an extremely dark look at the following characters:

Mrs. Claus
Santa's Little Helpers
Jack Frost
Snowman
Rudy Reindeer

I'm diggin that Snowman. Can't wait to set these babies above the fireplace this holiday season.

Well it seems like those Star Wars Saga Collection figures are just sitting there, while the 30th Anniversary figures are flying off the shelves. The few stores I've checked there were more TAC stormtroopers and clones than anything else. Great for all you army builders out there hm?? The vintage Stormtrooper (in hoth battle gear) is getting harder and harder to find. Wonder why... Maybe because he's the best of his kind we've seen so far?? I've got to give it to em, that IG-88 is pretty sweet too. Stepping away from Star Wars for a second..

As seen on Figures.com, NECA is introducing a new series of Resident Evil figures. This is the anniversary series 2 celebrating 10 years of zombie blasting fun!

Sadly NECA has also announced that there will not be a exclusive God of War figure at the San Diego comic-con this year.
From www.necaonline.com: "We regret to inform you that due to scheduling issues we will not be able to offer the "Poseidon's Rage Kratos" exclusive Comic-Con figure at this time. We are looking at opportunities to offer this or another special version of Kratos in the future."
Not quite as depressing as the few set backs of the Balrog last year, but you get the point.
